If you’re looking for live music that gets people dancing, singing, and smiling, you’ve found it. The Burton Brothers Band is a high-energy four-piece serving up crowd-favourite classics and modern hits with punchy harmonies and loads of personality.
Their setlist jumps effortlessly from Stevie Wonder to Roy Orbison, Daft Punk to Cold Chisel, with plenty of Dragon and Crowded House along the way. It’s music everyone knows — and loves — delivered with heart and energy.
Brothers Alex, Matt and Anthony Burton come from a long line of performers, so it’s fair to say music runs in the family. They cut their teeth early as Wicked Choice, finalists in YouthRock (the same comp that launched Silverchair), and went on to rack up serious studio time and big-stage experience, playing alongside bands like Ammonia and Tumbleweed to crowds of thousands. In 2023, the brothers reunited as the Burton Brothers Band, encouraged by their longtime drummer and manager David Luschwitz, whose guidance helped shape the band’s sound before his passing in 2024. His final gift was hand-picking the band’s drummer — the outstanding Tommy Ivanovski.
